“Before my illness, I used to enjoy dancing. Now, with physiotherapy, I am able to remove my socks by myself”

After 10 years of being carried on her ageing mother’s back, Stanzin Otsala (24) from the remote village of Lingshed in Leh, Ladakh is getting used to her new wheelchair. With physiotherapy, she is inching towards an ability to perform minor tasks.

Everyone is good at something" is an initiative started by IIF to celebrate 10-years of the inclusion movement. An Inclusive India where no one is left behind!

This running photo campaign aims to capture the stories of courage and triumph of People with disabilities across the country. Photographers (and occasionally videographers), including the acclaimed Vicky Roy, will travel across all the states and cover all the 21 disabilities in an attempt to shine a light on these journeys and showcase the human spirit in its absolute best.

Stay Tuned to celebrate the Unsung Heroes in their journeys.
