The Ram 4500 Heavy Duty featured in the video is the Crew Cab model with a 6-speed manual transmission. However, Dodge offers a lot of other options for the 4500.

You can order the Ram 4500 from Don Marshall Auto and they can be retrofitted with different types of flatbeds, steel beds and work truck beds. The Dodge Ram 4500 in this video is fitted with a Bradford bed and Don Marshall is a certified dealer of Bradford beds. The beastly 6.7L Cummins Turbo Diesel which is known for longevity is paired up with a six-speed manual transmission. Although the models with automatic transmission have slightly better towing capacity, it's good to know that Dodge still offers the manual version. As for the maximum towing capacity, the right rear axle ratio and the right transmission choice will give you 24,650 lbs.

The 2016 Ram 4500 has a luxurious interior which is usually unexpected from a work truck. The Tradesman package comes with vinyl seats and floor which are known for easy clean-up. There is a 5-inch color monitor to give you access to your satellite radio, handsfree Bluetooth, steering wheel radio controls and built-in trailer brakes which are all standard on the Tradesman package. If you intend to use it more as a family vehicle than a work truck, you can consider going for the other packages that offer leather interior and a navigation system.
